MHD has been sleeping on their website since the 2020 you-know-what. Thanks to folks that have nudged us to keep it updated.
Here’s some of our news bullets, in no particular order:
- We are releasing a DOUBLE VINYL Live Record in 2023, entitled LIVE. WILD. LOVE. This record was recorded in 2019 at Three Heads Brewing and Iron Smoke Distillery. We spent much of 2020 adding overdubs and mixing this project. Product is to be delivered in April and our release date is TBD
- Our band member, Eric Katerle, has retired from performing music for personal and health reasons. We still perform his song, “Mississippi Woman”; this song and some of Eric’s other writes and co-writes will be on LIVE. WILD. LOVE.
- In 2021, our long-time drummer, Alex Cote, moved into the lead guitar spot. Two of his songs will be on our vinyl release.
- Matt Bevan-Perkins, who has subbed with us a number of times, now hold the MHD drum throne.
- Vanessa Mangione has joined the band, contributing her songs, voice and tambourine playing. Her song, “Messed Up”, will be LIVE. WILD. LOVE.
- Sean Brabant has joined the group, also on background vocals and lead guitar. Sean contribute a lot of slide playing and will be adding some original songs to our catalog along the way.
- Kyle Vock continues to hold down the bass space and is working on some new original songs.
- Because Alex and Sean are both playing guitar, Alan Murphy has been freed up to add more keyboard to performances , while still playing guitar when called for.
- MHD has many studio tracks in the can, stay tuned!
